Visiting Teaching Message

Sis. Whiting, our new visiting teaching coordinator, shares a Hymn she loves:

Have I done any good in the world today?
Have I helped anyone in need?
Have I cheered up the sad and made someone feel glad?
If not, I have failed indeed.
Has anyone’s burden been lighter today
Because I was willing to share?
Have the sick and the weary been helped on their way?
When they needed my help was I there?
Then wake up and do something more
Than dream of your mansion above.
Doing good is a pleasure, a joy beyond measure,
A blessing of duty and love.

Here is the visiting teaching message this month.

Roll Up Your Sleeves!

Sis. Leavitt is moving and needs some help cleaning her home before she leaves. Can you help? Do you have kids that can help? Are you willing to watch children so others can help? We will start Monday at 10:00 am. We are sad to see Sis. Leavitt and her family leave, but we know she will be a great addition to her new ward.

Please Fast

Hello Sisters-
Bishop would like you to consider the Adams Family in your fast tomorrow. This the last update we received from Bro. Adams about little Parker:

Parker was progressing well this week. Until yesterday, he was drinking milk and doing well. However, yesterday he started spitting up everything he ate and this morning his poor little stomach was distended again. The doctors still aren't sure what is wrong but an x-ray of his stomach and intestines showed quite a bit of swelling/bloating. We are kind of back at square one. They had removed the tube from his mouth to his stomach and decreased the food he was getting from his pick line but the tube has been put back and the food to his pick line has been increased to what it was before. They did a biopsy today and will continue to do x-rays to find out what is going on. As always, your prayers are felt and appreciated. Casey Adams.
